Suffolk County Community College offers both a SUNY degree (AAS) or a certificate in HVAC-R technology.  The capstone of the degree program is HVA260 Internship/Cooperative Education in this course students work as intern/employees with HVAC-R professionals and must complete 120 hours at that workplace.
