Once again, we find ourselves in another Spring Season. I hope everyone is staying safe and doing well these days. I am sure everyone is looking towards a great start! That being said, listen to what we have in store for our MACC members…
MACC members have been itching to get back together in-person, and warmer temperatures combined with increased vaccinations have made this possible! MACC is excited to announce its first in-person event since the pandemic began. On Thursday, May 13th, join us for a members-only networking event at Charlotte’s Speakeasy in Farmingdale. The event will be a hybrid of indoor and outdoor, allowing safe distancing and fresh air while also embracing the ambiance of the restored speakeasy. MACC will be following all of the appropriate guidelines to ensure that our members stay safe, including mask wearing and social distancing. Please visit our website, www.maccny.org for more information or to register. In order to monitor capacity, we will not be accepting walk-ins, so do not forget to register!
We will also be continuing our education program with a virtual course on metering. This class, taking place on Zoom on May 20th, will cover topics such as multimeter safety, multimeter specifications, and applications to the HVAC industry. This course will be great for beginner techs and a great refresher for installers to become more versatile! Again, please visit our website for more information and to register for this course. As things begin to open up more and more, we hope to host in-person training courses later this year.
It is shaping up to be an incredible year for MACC! Thank you all for your continued support, and I am looking forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Jim Padavan
